Children learn to deal with money, thanks to the educational KidsGeldWijs app from Rabobank.
Start with your own safe, for which you create the secret access code yourself! Take pictures of all your savings goals so you know what you're saving for! Receive pocket money and earn extra money by doing chores for your parents, grandparents or your neighbors! Store your money in the safe and keep track of how you spend your money in the app. Will you achieve your savings goals? Do you have trouble dealing with money? Or are you a real saver? MoneyCoach Yvette is there for you, to teach you how to handle your money responsibly and how to achieve your savings goals. She always gives you tips and tricks to earn money and help you with your savings. You learn that you can only spend money once and how best to save.
Learning to deal with money is one of the goals that Rabobank attaches great importance to. In order to be able to handle money responsibly later in life, Rabobank has developed the KidsGeldWijs App for children aged 6 to 10.
The App has been enthusiastically received by the market and received positive responses, not only from parents and caregivers who want to teach their children to handle money safely and responsibly, but also from various authorities. The app has now been expanded with new functions.
Not just for children
This App is also a useful tool for parents and caregivers to talk to their children about pocket money, saving, doing chores and expenses. By creating a parent profile, you, as parents of each registered child, can see what savings goals and chores they are working on, how much money has been saved and spent per child and how money wise your kids are. You can also give your child weekly or one-off pocket money. You can also agree on chores together for which your child can earn cash. You confirm this agreement with a contract. MoneyCoach Yvette stimulates interaction between parent and child. You can follow closely how your child's savings progress via messages in the parent profile.
